Thelma Beatrice Ritchie ⁽⁵⁸⁾ was born on Sep 22 1904 in Warren Twp., Washington Co., Ohio.⁽⁸⁰⁾ She died on Jul 16 1989 in Warren Twp., Washington Co., Ohio. ⁽⁸¹⁾ Her Marietta Times obituary reads; "Thelma Beatrice Masters, 84, of Marietta Rt. 4 died at 11:38 a.m. Sunday, July 16, at her home. -- She was born Sept. 22, 1904, in Warren Township to Floyd L. and Mahala Hawkins Ritchie. She had spent all her life in Warren Township. -- She married J. Wayne Masters on March 29, 1924. He preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 1978. -- She is survived by one son, Robert of Canton; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Helen) Vickers of Marietta Rt. 4, Mrs. Gene (June) Kaul of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Stuart (Ruth) Runkel of Glenford; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Ritchie of Punta Gorda, Fla., Gilbert Ritchie of Jackson, Mich., and Herman Ritchie of Lewisville; and two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Schultz of Reno and Carrie Walker of Port Charlotte, Fla. -- She was preceeded in death by two sisters, Elsie Harris and Hazel Plaugher; one half-brother, Perry Hawkins; and one granddaughter, Marilyn Runkel. -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in McClure-Schafer Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Martindell officiating. Burial will be in Tunnel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 p.m. today until the hour of the services." She was buried on Jul 19 1989 in Tunnel Cemetery, Washington Co., Ohio.

She was married to John Wayne "Wayne" Masters (son of Ambrose Orestes Masters and Ida Belle Hammond) on Mar 29 1924 in Washington Co., Ohio.⁽⁸²⁾ They were married by C. T. O'Neil, a Justice of the Peace. John Wayne "Wayne" Masters was born on Jun 26 1894 in Marietta, Ohio. He died on Sep 20 1978. Thelma Beatrice Ritchie and John Wayne "Wayne" Masters had the following children:
