Times obituary reads: "Funeral services for Myrtle M. Ritchie, 84, of 624
Pearl Street, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in McClure-Schafer Funeral Home with

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. today until the hour of the
services. -- Mrs. Ritchie died at her daughter's home, Ramona Williams, of 220
Elm Street, at 1:35 p.m. Friday (Nov. 8, 1991). -- She was born December 12,
1906, at Moore's Junction, Washington County, to Walter and Maggie Hildebrand
Shears. She was a member of Willow Springs Chapel and attended the Open Door
Baptist Church, 301 Franklin Street. -- Mrs. Ritchie was married to Leslie Ritchie,
who precede her in death on June 29, 1976. -- She is survived by four sons, Leroy,
Gary and Michael, all of Marietta and Lester Ritchie, of Williamstown; two daughters,
Ramona Williams, of Marietta and Loretta Stephan, of Midland, Texas; one sister
Elsie Clasey, of Marietta; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. -- Mrs.
Ritchie was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Leonard Ritchie; one brother,
Gilbert Shears; two sisters, Ruby Denton and Sylvia Nelson and three half-sisters,
Katie Sauer, Carrie Gourley and Phoebe Williams." She was buried on Nov
11 1991 in Gravel Bank (Riverview) Cemetery near Constitution, Ohio.
