30. Charlotte "Lottie" Swords(17) was born on Apr 20 1875 in Dunham Twp., Washington Co., Ohio.(9) She died on Aug 16 1930 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. (9) Her obituary appeared in the Monday, Aug 18 1930 issue of the Marietta Times as follows; "FUNERAL OF MRS. WATERMAN TUESDAY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie Waterman, 55, wife of Charles C. Waterman of Constitution, who died in a Parkersburg hospital on Saturday evening following a goitre operation, will be held at the home at Constitution on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Officiating ministers will be Rev. F. E. Mann of Harrisburg, former pastor of Cutler U. B. Chapel, who officiated the funeral of Chauncey Waterman, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Waterman, a number of years ago, Rev. E. H. Wilson of Coolville, and Rev. C. C. Alton pastor of the First United Brethren Church of Marietta, of which the deceased was a member. J. E. McCoy Lodge No. 230, Daughters of Rebekah and Buell Post Woman's Relief Corps No. 70 of Marietta, of which Mrs. Waterman was a member, will assist in the services. Interment will be made in the family plot in Gravel Bank cemetery. -- Mrs. Waterman was a daughter of Rev. J. W. Swords, Civil War veteran, and the late Mrs. Nancy Swords. She was born in Dunham township on April 20, 1875. Following her marriage on May 29, 1900, with C. C. Waterman, who for many years conducted general store at Constitution, the decease lived at Constitution. During the last few years, while Mr. Waterman conducted a grocery store on the corner of Gilman and Market streets, the family lived for a part of the time in Marietta. The deceased was prominently identified with the United Brethren Church in this city, having been one of the charter members. She was also active in the Rebekah lodge and Woman's Relief Corps work until her health failed. -- Surviving with her husband and father, Rev. J. W. Swords, a retired minister who made his home in the Waterman family, she is survived by a brother and two sisters, J. J. Swords of Denver, Col., Mrs. Addie Seevers of Canton and Mrs. Eva Young of Pittsburgh, Pa. -- Chauncey Waterman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Waterman, alumnus of Marietta high school in the class of 1919, died in Detroit on July 20, 1921." She was buried in Gravel Bank (Riverview) Cemetery near Constitution, Ohio.(13)

She was married to Charles Chauncy Waterman (son of Charles Waterman and Rosabell Eva Barrows) on May 29 1900.(9) Charles Chauncy Waterman (13) was born on Jun 28 1874.(13) He died in 1941.(13) He was buried in Gravel Bank (Riverview) Cemetery near Constitution, Ohio. (13) Charlotte "Lottie" Swords and Charles Chauncy Waterman had the following children:
