(98) His obituary appeared in the Monday Evening January 20, 1964 Marietta Times: "Floyd H. Ritchie, 50, of 226 Third Street died at 6 a.m. Sunday at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born at Moore's Junction May 30, 1913, he was a son of the late Arthur Ritchie and Mrs. Margaret Gourley Ritchie. His mother, who lives in Marietta, survives with one brother, Edward Ritchie, also of Marietta. Two sons and three daughters survive, Robert, Ronald, Caroline, Marilyn and Roberta Ritchie. Mr. Ritchie has been employed as a truck driver for the State Highway Department. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Doudna & McClure Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery." He was buried on Jan 21 1964 in Gravel Bank (Riverview) Cemetery near Constitution, Ohio.
