1930, in Marietta to Clayton D. and Mary Minerva Davis Dye. She had spent her
entire life in the Marietta area. She was a Presbyterian by faith. - She received
her high school GED at the age of 58 and attended Washington Technical College,
where she received her degree to be a substitute history teacher when she was
62 years of age. - She is survived by her husband, Clem J. Tieman, whom she married
Nov. 10, 1956; three sons, Robert B. Ritchie Sr. of Marietta, David L. Ritchie
and his wife, Shellie, of Skiatook, Okla., and Joseph "Frank" Tieman
and his wife, Menchu, of Goose Creek, S.C.; four daughters, Mary Alice "Susie"
Stille and her husband, Bob, and Patty Faye Stille and her husband, Charlie,
both of Lower Salem, Trudy Thomas and her husband, Lewis, of Newport, and Vicki
G. Wittle and her husband, Ray, of Bluffton, S.C.; 11 grandchildren, Brian Seeley
and his wife, Janis, of Reno, Charles Stille Jr. and William M. Stille, Kellie
Merrow and her husband, Donnie, and Charity Miller and her husband, Garnie, all
of Lower Salem, Jamie Thomas of Newport, Robert B. Ritchie Jr. of Marietta, James

and a number of nephews and nieces. - She was preceded in death by her first
husband, William Mason Parke Ritchie, on Nov. 19, 1952: her parents; four sisters,
Mary Dye, Eunice Dye, Betty Dye and Rowena Bracken; one brother, Robert A. Dye;
one grandson, Clayton R. Thomas; and one great-grandson, Tony Ray "Arbaugh"
Stllle. - Services are at 3 p.m. Friday at McClure-Schafer Funeral Home in Marietta
with the Rev. Keith Kapple officiating. Entombment is in East Lawn Mausoleum.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. today until the hour of the
services. She was buried on Apr 7 2000 in East Lawn Mausoleum, Reno, Ohio.
