She was married to Jacob Theobald on Oct 16 1891 in Washington County, Ohio. Jacob Theobald was born in Nov 1869 in Ohio. Lucy C. Ritchie and Jacob Theobald had the following children:

61 i. Frank Theobald was born about 1890 in Marietta, Ohio. He died on Oct 19 1918 in Marietta, Ohio. His obituary appeared in the Monday, Oct 21 1918 edition of the Marietta Times and read as follows, "Frank Theobald died on Saturday afternoon at about two o'clock at his home at No. 717 Seventh street. Death was due to pneumonia, developing from Spanish influenza. He had been ill but a week. -- Mr. Theobald was born in Marietta about 28 years ago and has spent his entire life here. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Theobald. Ten years ago he was married to Miss Hazel Carruthers. Up to the time of his illness he was employed at Thorniley Brothers. -- Besides his wife and parents, the deceased is survived by two young daughters, Hazel and Edith, and two sisters Edith and Nellie Theobald, of Marietta."
