He was married to Ruth Violet Dobbertin (daughter of Paul W. Dobbertin and Stella Shilling) on Jun 27 1942 in Whiting, Indiana. Ruth Violet Dobbertin was born on Oct 3 1921 in Hammond, Indiana.(44) She died on May 21 1999 in Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio. Her Marietta Times obituary reads, "Ruth Violet Weinstock - Ruth Violet Welnstock, 77, of 710 Fifth St., Marietta, died at 2:45 p.m. Friday (May 21, 1999) at Marietta Memorial Hospital. - She was born Oct. 3, 1921, in Hammond, Ind., to Paul W. Dobbertln Sr. and Steila Schilling Dobbertin. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. She was a library clerk at Marietta College's library until her retirement with 17 years of service. - She attended McMurray College for Women In Springfield, Ill, for one year and Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, for one year. She also attended Vogue School of Dress Design in Chicago. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Allen Thomas Weinstock, whom she married June 27, 1942, in Whiting, Ind.; two sons, Thomas R. Weinstock and his wife Gladys, of Tarragona, Spain, and Charles W. Weinstock and his wife, Nancy, of Angola Republic In Africa; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Paul W. Dobbertin Jr. and his wife, Audrey, of Dearborn, Mich. - She was preceded in death by her parents. - Hadley Funeral Home In Marietta is in charge of cremation arrangements. There are no calling hours. Memorial services are at a later date." She was cremated.
