33. Pearl Blaine Ritchie ⁽⁴⁵⁾ was born on Mar 22 1876 in Newport Twp., Washington Co., Ohio.⁽⁷¹⁾ Pearl's birth date is given as March 22, 1875 in his father's Civil War pension records. The December 7, 1893 edition of the Marietta Times reported that he was found guilty of stealing. The Wednesday June 2, 1897 edition of the Marietta Times reported; "Ohio vs. Pearl Ritchie ? verdict of guilty of burglary and larceny." On June 9th the same paper reported; "Ohio vs. Pearl Ritchie and John Jenkins, cases for petit larceny continued" and "Pearl Ritchie who was sentenced to serve three years in the Ohio Penitentiary for burglary and larceny at Rice's Refinery was taken to Columbus yesterday by Sheriff McCallister." After he paid his debts to society he moved to Parkersburg, West Virginia and from all indications settled down.

He was married to Elizabeth A. Jenkins (daughter of Greenberry Jenkins) on Nov 25 1895 in Marietta, Ohio. ⁽⁷²⁾ They were married by John Gregory, minister of the Christian Church. Elizabeth A. Jenkins was born about 1879.

He was married to Nora Belle Lightner on Jul 14 1906 in Wood County, West Virginia.⁽⁷³⁾ Pearl's full name is given as Pearl Beut Ritchie on the marriage record. They were married by S. Scollay Moore, Rector, Trinity Church. Pearl Blaine Ritchie and Nora Belle Lightner had the following children:

99 iv. Pearl Howard Ritchie was born on Jul 12 1919. He died in Camden Clark Hospital, Parkersburg, West Virginia.⁽⁷⁴⁾ He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, South Parkersburg, West Virginia. He was a cab driver.
100 v. ?[MALE] Ritchie was born on Aug 9 1921 in West Virginia. ⁽⁷⁵⁾ He died on Aug 9 1921 in West Virginia. Cause of death listed as premature birth.
101 vi. Russell Glen Ritchie was born on Jul 31 1923. ⁽⁷⁶⁾ He died on Aug 24 1931 in Wood County, West Virginia. ⁽⁷⁷⁾
