4. Isaac H. Ritchey ⁽³⁾ was born in Jul 1835 in Pennsylvania. ⁽⁵⁾ He was enlisted in Company I of the 39th Ohio Infantry as a Private on Mar 5 1865.⁽¹⁰⁾ He was drafted. He was discharged in Jul 1865. ⁽¹¹⁾ He resided at Warner in 1898 in Salem Township, Washington Co., Ohio.⁽¹²⁾ He died after 1910. The last record of Isaac that I found was the 1910 census where he is living with his son, Wallace, on South Sixth Street in Marietta at age 80. The following article appeared in the Thursday Morning, November 2, 1893 edition of the Marietta Times "..Isaac Richey and sons caught and sold 980 turtles out if Duck Creek this summer. The total was 4,945 pounds, and they sold at an average of 8 3/4 cts. a pound. - Lower Salem Tribune."

He was married to Susanna Emma Swords (daughter of William Swords and Elizabeth -?-) on Oct 22 1855 in Washington County, Ohio. ⁽¹³⁾ They were married by Peter Snyder, Justice Of The Peace. Susanna Emma Swords⁽³⁾ was born about 1838 in Ohio.⁽³⁾ She died before 1863. Isaac H. Ritchey and Susanna Emma Swords had the following children:

15 ii. Walter Ritchie⁽¹⁴⁾ was born about 1858 in Ohio.⁽¹⁴⁾

He was married to Alice Olivia Hall (daughter of Margaret -?-) on Feb 12 1863 in Washington County, Ohio.⁽¹⁵⁾ They were married by Joseph Palmer, Justice of the Peace. Alice Olivia Hall ⁽⁷⁾ died before 1870. Alice is not listed in 1870 census. Isaac is living with his step-father and mother, John and Matilda Dick - and Emma and Willis are living with their uncle, William Hall. Isaac H. Ritchey and Alice Olivia Hall had the following children:

17 i. Emma O. Ritchie was born about 1866 in Ohio.
18 ii. Willis E. Ritchie was born about 1868 in Ohio.

He was married to Mary Jane Dillehay on Jul 11 1871 in Noble Co., Ohio. Mary Jane Dillehay ⁽¹⁶⁾ was born in Sep 1847 in Ohio. ⁽⁵⁾ Isaac H. Ritchey and Mary Jane Dillehay had the following children:

20 ii. Lumley H. Ritchie⁽⁵⁾ was born in Jan 1878 in Ohio.⁽⁵⁾ Spanish American War Veteran Company D 7th Regiment Of Infantry. He is listed in the 1900 federal census of Washington Co., Ohio in Salem Twp., in his brother, Arthur's household. He probably was on furlough, as his occupation is listed as United States Military Hospital, Honolulu.
21 iii. Arthur Ritchie⁽⁵⁾ was born in Jan 1880 in Ohio.⁽⁵⁾ He was a Telegrapher in 1900.⁽⁵⁾ Spanish American War Veteran Company D 7th Regiment Of Infantry
