Wallace shows up in the household of his aunt and uncle, Samuel and Ellen J. [Ritchey] Hunter, in the 1870 and 1880 Censuses. He died on Mar 11 1918 in Nelsonville, Ohio. His obituary appeared in the March 24 1918 Sunday Morning Observer and reads: "Wallace Ritchie - A former resident of this city, passed away at his home at Nelsonville on Monday, March 11. The body was brought to this city and burial was made in Oak Grove on Thursday afternoon. Mr. Ritchie is survived by the following sons and daughters: Charles and Albert, of Nelsonville; William, of Melborne, Pa.; Frank, of Catawba, W. Va.; Earl and Mrs. Emma McKinley, of Clarksburg, and Mrs. Bertha Casto, of Marietta." He was buried on Mar 14 1918 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Marietta, Ohio.

at Home of Her Daughter at Marietta -- The death of Mrs. Judith Ritchie, aged
55 years, occurred this morning shortly after two o'clock at the family home
on Hall Street, Riverside, following a lingering illness. Death was due to cancer
and other complications. -- She is survived by her husband, Wallace Ritchie,
and the following children; Frank, Albert, Charles, and Earl Ritchie, all of
this city; William and Wilmar Ritchie, both of Marietta; Mrs. Emma McKinley,
of Clarksburg, and Mrs. Bertha Casto, of Marietta. -- The remains will be taken
to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Casto, at 715 Wayne street, Marietta
where the funeral services will be held and the interment will be made in the
Oak Grove cemetery." She was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Marietta, Ohio.

Barnhart was born on Jan 29 1863 in Woodsfield, Ohio. She died on Oct 20 1918 in Marietta, Ohio. Her obituary appeared in Marietta Times of Oct 21 1918 as follows; "MRS. RITCHIE CALLED -- Mrs. Mary Barnhart Ritchie, aged 60 years, died Sunday morning at 7 o'clock, at her home at the corner of Pike and Wayne streets. Death was due to a hemorrhage, although she had been in poor health for some time. -- Mrs. Barnhart's husband died several years ago. She is survived by three daughters, Misses Dolly and Chloe Barnhart and Mrs. Rosie Sheets, all of Marietta. Several brothers and sisters also survive her. -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, at Doudna's and burial was made in Oak Grove." She was buried on Oct 21 1918 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Marietta, Ohio.
