The Valuation Roll for 1855 shows Alexandre owned one third of Lot 17, Range 2 of Calumet Island, Quebec, 52 acres.

The 1881 Census of Canada has him 69 yrs. That, if correct would make his birth at 1812. At the time of the census he was living in Clarendon Township. Pontiac County with Marie and sons John & Lewis (as shown in the census).

He was married to Marie Louise EDOUARD (daughter of Jean EDOUARD and Marie Louise PETIT) on 21 Sep 1835 in Notre Dame Cathedral, Ottawa, Ont.. The record of his marriage in Les Mariages de la Cathedral records his father, Jacques as a witness. Marie Louise EDOUARD ⁽¹⁰⁾ was born in 1816 in Unknown. ⁽¹¹⁾ AKA Coombs?
