| I am currently researching the Roberts-Baldwin side of the Family. This family tree contains the surnames of Roberts,Baldwin, Alden, Mullins, Cooke,Hayward, the Royal family of England and the Kings of England dating back to King Egbert. There is direct lineage from King Edward the first's son John de Botetourt(who's mother was King Edward's concubine) and the only son to be recognized by William from one of his concubines. The Baldwin family tree also goes through the line of Frances Cooke of the Mayflower and John Alden who married Priscilla Mullins the daughter of William and Alice Mullins of the Mayflower. All of this documentation has been proven and verified. I am also highly interested in the McNutt-Kemp relationship. Clara Margaret McNutt and Herbert Lyle Kemp, Sr. had four children; Herbert Lyle, Jr., Robert. Otto Wayne, and Sondra Lee. Sondra Lee is my mother. Clara Margaret "cookie" McNutt's mother was Jessie Mae(Rosa Cole) Rogers. We believe the she had a twin sister (not a twin brother as my findings through this site have indicated) who's name was Sarah Louis. We were not aware that Jessie had a brother John. It is believe that the two girls were adopted by John Rogers in Cleveland, Ohio at an Orphanage on Euclid Avenue(which now is burned down). The two girls were taken back to brooklyn where John announce to his wife after returning from the "business trip" that they would be adopting these two girls. Rumor has it that the twins were actually John's children and their mother was his mistress who either could no longer care for the children or who had died. The information about Jessie Mae (Rosa Cole) was submitted to the World Family Tree in 1995. I am desperately trying to find the person who submitted this information so that I can exchange information and possible help in our research |
