We are researching family history for Camp, DeBose, Edwards, Holdridge, Kress, Lilly, McGehee, Pemberton, Ranbarger, Roberts, Scales, Stephens, and Wise EDWARDS/HOLDRIDGE: David C. EDWARDS, was born February 10, 1821 in Herkimer County, New York. He married Eunice C. HOLDRIDGE February 15, 1842, probably in Herkimer County. Eunice was born November 3, 1821 in Herkimer County. Eunice died January 26, 1887 in Rippey, Greene County, Iowa, at 65 years of age. Her body was interred January 28, 1887 in Rippey Cemetery. David died June 29, 1906 in Rippey, at 85 years of age. KRESS: Jonas KRESS was born about 1810 in New York. He married Penelope about 1833. Penelope was born about 1811 in Tennessee or Massachusetts. RANBARGER/LILLY: Jeremiah RANBARGER was born 1819 in Kentucky. It is believed that he married Lorinda Miran LILLY on March 13, 1834 in Lawrence county, Illinois. Lorinda was born about 1814. ROBERTS/PEMBERTON: Euphratus A. ROBERTS was born in TN 1852. He married Lucy Ann PEMBERTON Dec 7, 1868. She was born in KY in 1850. It is believed that they had thirteen children with the youngest being born in 1893. They both died in 1921 in OK. He was 69 and she was 71 years of age. They were interred in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville, Tulsa CO., OK. ROBERTS: According to the 1870 U.S. Census for Owen Twp, Warrick Co., Indiana, Monroe ROBERTS was born in NC abt 1826 and his wife Elizabeth was born abt 1835 in IN. They were probably married between 1845 and 1855, with the most likely being close to 1854/5. Of the four children listed in the census, the first three were girls born in TN and the last was a son born in IN. |
