I am presently involved in researching my husbands and my family ancestry. Mine is Haskell, Thompson,Davis, Gale. The Haskell background is located mainly in Maine and Massachusetts. The Thompson and Gale are from the Utah area. The Davis family are from Massachusetts. I have extensive information on the Haskell branch of my family and the Thompson family. but very little on the Gale or Davis branches.
Great Grandpa Pardon A. Davis was born in Westport Ma. His parents were Thomas Davis and Mahala Davis born in Scotland
My Husbands family are Roberts and Welch. His Grand parents were Frank Welch and Jenny Dunn. Frank was a son of William Welch from Ireland. William Welch declared himself to become a citizen of Mexico in order to receive a Spanish Land Grant in Martinez Ca. We have no information of where Jenny Dunn decended from.
My husbands Father was John Charles Roberts BR: Oklahoma Territory. Parents were Enoch and Era Roberts. Last known address was Evens Station Texas
I am presently in the process of preparing Family trees for both of us with the information that I have.
