Notes for Price Once Skinner: Price went to some friends house at age 25, and telling them he came home to die and he did. This is the Obituary as appeared in the paper: OBITUARY Died, at the residence of Mrs. David Allen, near Foley, on Dec. 29th, 1887, Price Skinner, aged 25 years, 11 months and 28 days. Deceased had been sick seven weeks and as he said, came back home to die. This had been his home for thirteen years of his youthful days. When he came into the house, meeting Mrs. Allen he said: "Aunt Vine, I have come home to stay as long as I live." He was taken into the Allen family when he was but nine years old and there was always a warm attachment between them. He was buried at Corinth Church beside his youthful companion, Dr. Tom M. Allen. The funeral was conducted by Elder J. B. Jeanes, the church pastor, and the large crowd at the funeral bespoke the many friends who mourn his untimely death.
