Adele is small community on the border of Morgan County and Wolfe County. Adele got its name from a family of French and Indian half-breeds. They had two children, both girls. One of girls was name Adele, which is a French name. The other was name Helechawa, which is an Indian name. Adele, located in Morgan County, was named of one daughter, and Helechawa, located in Wolfe County, is named for the other.
