I am researching primarily the ancestors of my maternal and paternal grandparents: James McClellan Ross, born in Ohio; Esther Lou Owens, born in Gadsden, Alabama; John Bertie Long, born in Walker County, Georgia; and Nannie Grace Lewis, probably born in McMinn County, Tennessee.
It has been about two years since I updated this site. A few days ago, I had a computer crash and almost lost much of my work. This update is a working copy of my genealogy files and as such, much has not been verified. However, in the interest of not losing data and making it available so that others might use it for aid in their own research, I am uploading it in its present unfinished state. Any errors found may be called to my attention and I will be happy to correspond with you.
Hopefully, having this information available, even in its present tenuous state, will help someone else in their own family search.
