there are 40 vouchers and receipts etc. in the file--22 receipts aresigned by Stephen McCraw, adms. , for notes made by
John Abernathyfrom 1804 to 1808. He aurely borrowed often and much, but his creditseemed to be good!
In 1807 he bought various liquors-wines, whiskeys, rums, from J. Nance& Co. General Merchandise --amt. L16 + (I can't
type the shillings,etc.)
Must have been SOME party!!!
