Robert is listed in "The First Census of The United States".
He and his family living in Ninty Six District, Abbeville Co., SC.

He was a soldier of the revolution as were his sons.
He was captured by "Bloody Bill" Cunningham but, escaped.
Bloody Bill who was himself captured at the battle of "Kettle Creek,
he was a Tory (loyalist) that caused much trouble in the Carolinas
and Georiga.

He died before the pension grants were enacted. Congress
dragging their feet.

He probably died in the old 96 district.
