Barbara a Ryherd, 62, of Fairbank, died Friday, March 22, 1996, at Allen memorial hospital, Waterloo, after a lengthy illness.
Barbara was born April 13, 1933 in Aurelia, the daughter of George and Naomi (Lee) Lamm. On October 6 1951, she was united in marraige to John H. Ryherd in Galva. She graduated from Galva High school in 1951. She was a housewife and member of United methodist Church in Fairbank, the church choir and church circle, the Farm Bureau Women and the County Republican Committee.
Survivors include her husband, John of Fairbank, two sons, David Ryherd of Denver, Dennis Ryherd of Fairbank, a daughter, Deb Ryherd of Fairbank, nine grandchildren and an adopted father, Lloyd Lamm.
She was preceded in death by a son, James, two granddaughters and both parents.
Services were held Tuesday March 26, 1996 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fairbank.
Burial was in Fairbank Cemetery in Fairbank.

Entered into rest March 22, 1996 with services conducted from the United Methodist Church, Fairbank, Iowa on Tuesday, March 26, 1996 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Hary. The organist was Karen Levendusky and soloist was Dennis Neil. Casket Bearers were Daune Ryherd, Mike Ryherd, Don Ryherd, Chuck Ryherd, Richard Lohse, Roger Lohse. Honorary Casket Bearers were Brian Ryherd, Jeremy Ryherd, Ben Ryherd. Interment was in the Fairbank Cemetery, Fairbank, Iowa. She was adopted early 1980's. adopted by Llyod Lamm John Henry RYHERD and Barbara A LAMM had the following children:

He was married to Patricia Ann (Phillips) DE LONG (daughter of Nathaniel Jurgens DE LONG and Gladys Marie ACKERMAN) on 12 Feb 2000 in Dunkerton United Methodist Church, Dunkerton, Iowa. Patricia Ann (Phillips) DE LONG was born on 8 Feb 1935 in Waterloo, Iowa.
