About 1853 Margaret and her husband along with her parents came to Schuyler County, Missouri. Her brothers were John Lewis, Eli W. and David T. and sisters Mary and Amanda

She was married to Ezekiel W. DALTON (son of Daniel DALTON and Sarah) about 1851. Ezekiel W. DALTON ⁽²⁾ served in the military on 25 Jul 1862. He died on 6 Jan 1863 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Served with the First Northeast Missouri Cavalry, for the Confederacy
Died of typhoid fever Margaret Dehaven RIHERD and Ezekiel W. DALTON had the following children:
