Hezekiah married two White Sisters and then their niece. Knowledge of him surprises us in the family because our former information was that Tabitha Elizabeth maiden name was Malone. Gerald E. Forsythe of Lufkiin, Texas informs us that Tabitha was previously married to to Drury Malone and is in fact the daughter of Hezekiah..

The Nettles go back to England and the first documented record was in Virginia in 1852.

He and his family moved to Tenmnessee and then to Marengo County, Alabama. He was one of the founding members of the Nanfalia Baptist Church, Marengo County on April 4, 1831. He bought land at the Demopolis land office in 1835. Parents: Jesse Nettles.
