Ann married a railroad man whose first wife had died leaving him with two young daughters, Anna and Edna. They had twins on of which died at an early age and then Marion. Ann was a housewife, and since Edward James Kervin was away a lot was kept busy with all of the household matters. She was an outstanding cook and also a capable seamstress. She made all of the girls clothes. When they maried she always was there when they had babies and helped these new mothers learn how to be a mother.

Once a month she enjoyed going down town to shop and stop on all the places where she had to pay bills. Usually one or more of the girls went with her and they ususlly stopped into the drug store for a treat at the soda fountain.

During Ann's premarriage days she was looked up to by her siblings for leadership and sort of became a second mother to them. They all loved her. A finer person does not exist! Parents: John Lawrence Stenson and Mary Leonard.
