Marriage Notes for James Graham and Almina Brown:
An article in the Kewanee (IL) newspaper for their 50th wedding anniversary states: "Mr. and Mrs. Graham were married Nov. 6, 1881, at Mound Chapel, near Lewistown, Ill.".
However, a copy of their marriage license shows a discrepancy in the location of the marriage. It states:
I, S. B. Laird, a minister of the Gospel, hereby certify that Mr. James Graham and Miss Almina Brown were united in marriage by me at the residence of John Brown, in the County of Fulton and State of Illinois, on the 6th day of November, A.D. 1881.
