Emil JOHANNING served in the
military in 1942. Emil enlisted for 3 years and served in the U. S. Navy after
his basic training at Great Lakes Naval Station in Chicago. Most of his Navy
career was spent on the east coast of the U. S. He was born on 10 Feb 1942 in
St. Kilian (Wilmont Address). He died on 10 May 1982 in Howard Memorial Hospital.
He was ill with. Emil became ill with cancer in early 1982. After seeking
medical aid and tests in Kokomo, he was sent Cleveland, OH clinic for more treatment.
He also went to the cancer treatment center in Houston, TX. After much treatment
there he returned home and passed away at Howard Memorial Hospital. Teresa Schettler
JOHANNING and Emil JOHANNING had the following children:
