Dear Mrs. Quade,

Nice to hear from you. You are in the some boat that I was in. Faint inside and out. Inside some of the crepts. Elizabeth is sweet as ever. She is my loving daughter. Devota lives in San Pedro and I see her about every 2 weeks. Charles lives in Moline Ill and don't get to see him very often. I was there long time ago. He is so busy. We call each other on phone. His S.S. is one of 50 largest in the Nation according to Statistic.

I hope you get to go to Kentucky. I used to correspond with Gladys Hinton in TN., but that was long ago. I never met her but enjoyed her letters, but in the mean time we moved to CA. and don't know what happened. I get so busy. I expect it was my fault.

Trust you have a lovely time. I don't travel much. I have apt's rented and I live alone. Ha Ha Have a lovely time.

Sincerely Nancy Hollis

Dear Mrs. Guilford,

You will say I am the worst Family Tree Doctor, you ever saw my Daughter of San Pedro does those things for me. I expect her to come here Sunday. She come up and we all go to dinner together. She and her husband, Elizabeth and her children, her husbands sister, some time, Roberts friend, Roberts friend, so I will ask her to send it to me if she has those things. Selby just passed away. I didn't take the date. His wife is the worlds worst when it comes to writing me. We usually send Christmas cards. I didn't have any on to go on the plane to Selby's funeral. I had been ill, falling and I didn't dare to go by my self. They live in. Selby was taken to hospital bleeding inwardly, I loved my Bro. He have been well for some lone time before he cough night and day. They have married Daughter Tommy has been dead quite a long time. He was a rail road man when he was older. He took care of my mother and Bro. they moved to south of ILL l used to go visit then when my husband was living and Devota was small. I have three children. She is the oldest. I never met Tom's wife. They moved quit far my mother and Bro came back to Danville, Selby made a home for my mother for a time until he married. She took sick and lived with my Sister Minnie and my self we were both married and lived in Daurley, my mother and my husband died a week apart. I started working (serving) a year before she and my husband died.

My husband's mother lived with us also, Uncle Robert Anderson. Monlane took ill and come home. I don't remember dates. Uncle Robert buried his mother and mother in a cemetery. Had a stone for all three of them. I never saw Tom's wife or him after he married, they lived away. Tom used to write me. I didn't take their names and dates of both. We never saw my Father during all these things. Well I want to tell you I enjoyed meeting all of you and this has taking of all our time. We never saw my father (Willie) during all of this Toms - Wife died before he did. One time after Myrtle died he came to visit when I was visit Selby and his wife. We were all born in Danville. Except my Elizabeth. Grandma Turner came to visit when we were children and lived in the country. Aunt Gene Conley died at our house when we lived in the country; before any of us were away from home. We went to a country school. I don't know dates.

Enough said, don't know dates been too long ago. The Lord helped me to build this house where you were. He has been such a blessing to me and mine Devota and family live in San Pedro. She may have dates about people. Trust you can read this, you folks must come and go to church with us. My son Dr. Charles Allis of Moline will be here February 26, with 100 of his people by plane. They have a place reserved. My folks will be hers. he will be one of the Speakers of Convention. Bless all of you.

Dear Mrs. Guilford Quade,

I have the names you asked for and I looked in my lock box and found them, but the paper is old and torn, but we will fix the names on some new paper, by recording. My father was not kind to my mother so after he left her. My Bro Tom took her and my bro Selby and cared for them. Bless his heart, by bro Selby has just gone to heaven. My Bro Tom has been gone quiet a while.

I am 88 years of age. My two Daughters live out here. We are all christians and happy in the Lord. My son Charles is a wonderful Christian in Moline Ill. Will be here for Convention at Angeles Temple in February 24 as one pecker and have and has a plane load of his church. Been at Moline 23 years and his people love him yet.
