Rites on Saturday
Samuel Herbert Pryor, 57, died at his home, 618 North Fifth street, Thursday
night at 8:30 o'clock. His death was caused by heart disease. Surviving are
his wife, Mrs. Rosa Lee Pryor; one sister, Mrs Worten Rodfus of Paducah; and
one brother, Edgar Pryor from Acorn, MO.
Mr. Pryor had been a resident of Paducah since boyhood, and was esteemed by
many friends. He was an employed of Wahl's Home Laundry. Funeral services will
be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Roth Chapel. Burial will be in Mapelawn
cemetery. Rev. George Heaton and Rev. J.E. Underwood will officiate.
Pallbearers will be: Kelly Carney, Troy Flynn, James Gentry, David P. Nichols,
Groover Watkins and Worten Rodfus. The body is at the residence, 618 North
Fifth Street.
Pryor had been employed by the Wahl Home Laundry for a number of year.
