died on 1 Sep 1948 in Paducah KY. Miss Bertha Lee Crawford, well known
resident of Paducah, died at 11 a. m. today at her home 709 North Twenty-Fourth
street.
Miss Crawford was born and reared in Paducah. She was employed at the Gilvert-Bennett
Drugstore, Fourth and Broadway, for more than 25 years.
She was a member of Broadway Methodist church and a charter member of the Business
and Professional Women's Club of Paducah. She also was a member of Loyal Rebekah
Lodge, No. 52, Paducah.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Sudie Lee Gentry; her stepfather, J. M.
Gentry; a sister Mrs. Tillman Grisham of Nashville TN. and a niece, Mrs. Roy
S. Dawson of Shadyside Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 P. M. Sunday at Roth's funeral chapel
with the Rev. Ted Hightower officiating. Burial will be in Mapelawn Cemetery.
