199. Mary Nancy Lee HOLLIS was born on 19 Dec 1884 in Danville, Vermilion Co., IL. Walter J. Bord said that Nancy (Hollis) Lee was born on Demceber 19, 1885. She died on 20 Feb 1976 in Glendale, LA County, California. Dear Mrs. Quade:

My mother Mrs. Nancy Lee Hollis pass away February 20, 1976 on a Friday at 11:40 p.m. She fought so hard to keep alive until her son my brother could get here on the plane from Illinois. She missed his arrival by about a half hour or forty minutes. He felt badly about this but he felt he must commit her in to God's hands when he felt that he was not going to get to see her. I felt that I should commit her into God's hands and not try to hold her until he got there. I prayed for God to have his way. I read the Bible to her for one hour and 1/2 read while my sister was by her side assisting our mother.

The services were hold at the Angelus Temple Auditorium. The service was conducted by Dr. Howard P. Courtney (main minster) and Dr. Rolf K. McPherson told of nice things to be remembered. The Revened John Holland read scripture.

She was married to Charles Edwin HOLLIS on 6 Jun 1906. Charles Edwin HOLLIS was born in 1882 in Frankford, TX. He died on 18 Sep 1924. Mary Nancy Lee HOLLIS and Charles Edwin HOLLIS had the following children:
