Cotton 53, 1318 N. Smith St., Kissimmee, died Friday.
A native of Sampson, Ala., he was a resident of Kissimmee the past 25 years.
He was a security guard at the State Prison Camp at Kissimmee, and associated
with several automobile agencises for several years in Kissimmee. he was a member
of the First Baptist Church, Kissimmee, and a veteran of World War 11.
Survivors; widow, Bertha Lonczak; daughters, Mrs William Grover, both of Kissimmee,
Miss Alice Linda Goldsboro, N. C.; son Robert L., Kissimmee; mother Mrs. Alice
Jones Cotton, Ocala; sisters, Mrs. Michael Maxwell, Montverde, Mrs John F. Yawn,
Mrs. Carl Johnson, both of Lakeland; brothers, Charlie, Kissimmee, Thomas, Orlando,
Jay, Frostproff, Malcolm, Ohio, James and Floyd, both of Ocala; four grandchildren.

Funeral service for Mr. S. L. "Buddy" Cotton, 53 of Kissimmee, will
be held at 10 a. m. Monday in the Grissom Chapel with Rev. Paul E. Wrenn Jr.
Officating. Casket bears; Dolphus Brown, Jimmy Dyer, Glen Hartley, Acey McCall,
Malvin Samuel and Ralph Shore. Folding and presentation of the flag courtesy
of Makinson-Carson Post 10, American Legion. Interment will follow in Rose Hill
Cemetery, Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
