In 1914 a fire in the village (of Lintonville/Regal) destroyed the general store, post office, and a home (from Brief History of Our West Central Towns, Friday, March 19, 1976). The home was the home of George A. Weidner and Eva Nickol. A new house, including the store and post office, was built in the same place.
