Schnapp - Grubin Family

I am researching the family of Benjamin Grubin, whose name was changed to Silverman when he emigrated to New York abt 1913. He was born in a small village in the Ukraine called Kinella but migrated with his family when he was younger than 15 to Odessa. His wife, Ida (Chaike)nee Kagarlitsky followed a similar route (Kinella to Odessa), Her mother's maiden name was Mischansky.
Benjamin was called "Alter" from infancy.
