Hi, I am Jeanne . I have been researching my family history for about 25 years, yes I was a child when I began. Some of the family names I am researching are William O'Brien from Chicago, and NY about 1910, NarcisseChatel from upper Mi and Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada, Bridget Davey from Kewanee, IL @ 1860 came here from Sligo, Ireland daughter of John. Thomas Lefteruk (Lefterook) from Gonor, Manitoba, Canada from Austria early 1900's. Horjes from Chicago related by marriage to Mayor Cermak, Joseph Novotny from Chicago all I know about him was that he was married to Bozena Horejs about 1907 and died in 1921 he had 2 children George and Muildred. Lee Vickers from Kentucky then Oklahoma and Margaret Cannon from Kentucky died about 1888 left 2 children Catherine and Thomas. Also looking for a place in Kentucky called Wises Landing. In Henry county Illinois, researching Martin and McDermott last half of 1800's. I do hope that somewhere along the line we make a connection.
