| I am researching John D. McPherson, son of Angus MacPherson and Ann (Shea), who was born c. 1862 (Nova Scotia? Scotland?) and emmigrated to Prince Edward Island. From PEI he moved to Boston, MA and married Mary Mackey (Mackie), daughter of Patrick and Mary (Whelan) Mackie of Prince Edward Island. Mary Mackey moved to Lowell, MA as a young girl. She died 8//7/1931 in Lowell and John died 12/3/1934 - also in Lowell. They had seven children: William J. McPherson - b. 12/22/1886; Katherine E. McPherson, b. 3/10/19889; Francis J. McPherson, b. 11/8/1891; Marietta (Etta) McPherson, (twin) b. 10/10/1892; Marian McPherson, b.10/10/1892 (twin) and Lillian G. McPherson, b.11/8/1896. Specifically, I would like to find out more about John's parents, siblings and place of birth. In addition, I am researching the Patrick and Katherine (Curry) Fox family. Both immigrated from Ireland and settled in Lowell, MA. They died 1919 (Patrick) and 1906 (Katherine.) Other family names include George Connell, Elizabeth Connel, (Marblehead and Lowell, MA). Children of Patrick and Elizabeth (Connell) Fox: Frank, James, Anna, Emma, Thomas H., Elizabeth, John Joseph, and Harriet Fox. Any information would be most appreciated. |
