Includes NotesNotes for Ralph Boyle O'LEARY:
Info on death taken from death cert with Glen O'Leary giving info. I know some is not correct..ie. he says Fa born in Ireland but I have other records of Thomas and Angeline O'Leary with birth is Ohio. Birthdates varied from 1873-1875...using 1880 Census.

Buried at Evergreen Cemetery. I visited the cemetery and there is a record of the burial. I found the location - right on the street just past chapel but there is no gravestone. Wife listed as Effie, no last name, but I know mom told me it was Holcomb and this is the middle name for Uncle Jack. At time of death, he was living at 500 1/2 Euclid Ave, LA Occupation: buyer of grain...last worked 1929. Mom told stories of her father working a General Store and running Grainery (in Oklahoma). Mary also talked about how he extended credit to the Indians. Mom said that the Indians liked to stroke Doris June's hair since it was a rich auburn. Mary and mom also collected eggs which they sold in town. I recall sitting w/mom when the space shuttle first took off and how she stated her dad would have been so proud of the country. He would sit with the children on the farm in OK and talk about the stars and how someday, we would have a space ship land on the moon.
I took Aunt Marguerite to an irish Concert performed by Cahal Dunne. She had tear in her eye when the announcer began to speak. I asked what was wrong and she said, "Oh, he sounds just like 'Larry's dad"...Uncle Carl's nickname was "Larry"...an aborted form of O"Leary.
This is the first I had heard that grandfather O'Leary had any type of accent.
gravesite: #5660 secnd grave from conrer...near street. 1x1111 on locaton card
