1. George Loeslein was born on 27 May 1824 in Mittelfranken, Bavaria, Germany. He immigrated between 26 Jun 1854 and 1859. He owned Lot #11, Jaeger's Addition, in 1859 in Columbus, Franklin Co., OH. He died on 19 Jul 1892 in Columbus, Franklin Co., OH.

He was married to Margarethe Hoffman (daughter of George M. Hoffman and Margaret B. --) before 6 Sep 1844 in Mittelfranken, Bavaria, Germany. Margarethe Hoffman was born on 18 Sep 1818 in Bavaria, Germany. She died on 8 Oct 1899 in Columbus, Franklin Co., OH. (OLD AGE)
She was buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH. ⁽¹⁾ (SECTION R, LOT 58) George Loeslein and Margarethe Hoffman had the following children:

6 v. Johanna (Anna) Leslein was born in 1863 in Columbus, Franklin Co., OH. Little is known about Anna Leslein, she was last known in the 1885-1886 Columbus Directory as domestic at 92 E. Broad St. Being a "special" child throughout her life, Anna was provided for separately (over and above her one fifth equal share) in her father's Will because of her affliction.
