Lester COTTRELL⁽⁹⁰⁾⁽⁸⁸⁾ was born in Mar 1891 in MI. He died about 1955 in Cleveland, OH.⁽⁸⁸⁾ In 1900 and 1910 census Lester was living with grandparents Copley and
Carrie Cottrell.

Per Richard C Cottrell: "Lester Cottrell used to work for the Fisher Brothers Machine Shop in Flint. My son is in fossession of a signed (by Lester) set of micrometers used by Lester while he was employeed there. Did you know that the Fisher Brothers Machine Shop was purchased by General Moters and converted to a body shop, and that is why every General Motors automobile carrieds an emblem that states "Body by Fisher".

Pvt. Patric Clancey enlisted in Co. C 23rd Michigan Infantry on 31 Aug 1864. He was discharged from the army at Salisbury, NC on 28 Jun 1865. He received a military disability pension of $ 2.00/mo for chronic diarrhea.

Patric Clancy was killed by a train and died 14 Oct 1889. In 1900 Jane Clancey was living with her daughter, Harriet and son-in-law, Hiram VanWarner in Vasser, Tuscola Co, MI. Children were: Helena COUZENS, Harriet COUZENS.

206, we find that she has listed the birth, death, will, marriage and children
of Ralph Shelton, Jr. and his first wife Mary Daniel. His will was proved 30
Mar 1789. He lived in Amelia Co., VA for many years, then sold his land and
moved to Henry Co., VA by 1763. His second wife, Susannah (about whom
little is known), is mentioned in a deed shortly before his death which names
his last four children, Eason, Abigail, Mary, and Liberty Shelton to share
equally in his estate with his elder children. Other children named in the will
are sons Ralph, Palitiah, Eliphas, James, Hezekiah, Jeremiah, Azariah (who
married Sarah Holt and moved to TN), Roger, and John, his son whom he
cut off with a bequest of 25 pounds so that he could not claim kinship. The
daughters named are Katherine Rutherford, Sarah Robertson, Elizaeth
Arnold, Rina McGhee and Susannah Jones.

Children were: John SHELTON, Ezekiah SHELTON, JAMES J. SHELTON, Ralph SHELTON, Palatiah SHELTON, Sarah SHELTON, Katherine SHELTON, Elizabeth SHELTON, Derina SHELTON, Susannah SHELTON, Jeremiah SHELTON, Eliphaz SHELTON, Azariah SHELTON, Roger SHELTON.

him and his heirs forever, lawfully begot of his body and for want of such heirs to Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary, Ann and Agatha Daniell, my daughters and their heirs.

ITEM: I give unto my son Will Daniell, my brandy still and a table and carpet belonging to it.

ITEM: I give unto my sons, Moseley, John, Robert, Obadiah Daniell all my tract of Jemeco Land, to be equally among them both for goodness and quantity to them and their heirs forever, lawfully begot of their own bodys and for want of such heirs to my daughters above named and their heirs.

ITEM: I give unto my daughter Eliz. Daniell, a young negro boy called Ben, for her full share.

ITEM: I give unto my daughter Sarah Daniell, my feather bed that I lye upon with all the furniture and 3£ to buy her a suit of clothes for her share.

ITEM: I give unto Robert and Obadiah Daniel, a feather bed that stands in the closit with the furniture.

ITEM: I give unto Elizabeth, Mary, Ann, and Agatha Daniell, two feather beds and furniture. The one a Trunnel bed and the other a Jemeco (Elizabeth enterlined, carried over by other side).

ITEM: I give unto Mosely, John, Robeort and Obadiah Daniell a negro woman called Kate, with her increase. My desire is that my three youngest daughters, Mary, Ann, and Agatha Daniell live at Jemeco upon their brothers¹ plantations till they are marryed, and their negro wench that their uncle John Moseley byes for them, to have ground to work upon to make crops for their maintenance with the help of their brothers.

ITEM: I devise all the rest of my whole personal estate to be equally divided among my children. That is to say, Mosely, John, Robeort, Obadiah, Mary, Ann and Agatha Daniell. My desire is that none of my estate be appraised but that my children have it to live upon.

ITEM: And lastly I make my sons William, John, Robeort and Obadiah Daniell exec., of this my last will and testament as witness of my hand and seal this 24 day of Feb 1722.
