A.Gardner of Boulder, Mrs. Charles Gardner of Bloomington Neb., Mrs. Bert Skiles of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs Theodore A Ohl of Los Angeles, Calif., and by three sons, James of Culbertson, Neb, Frank of Robanna, Neb., and Fred of Wilcox, Neb. She is also survived by one brother and one sister.

The remains have been brought to the Howe mortuary. Funeral announcement will be made later."

" Viola V. Denney was born January 4, 1857, in the state of Iowa. After her marriage on July 24, 1876, she came with her husband, Charles E Zulauf, to Buffalo Co, NE, where their eight children were born, the youngest dying in infancy.
Later the family moved to Franklin Co, where they purchased the Bloomington flour mill, operation same for several years, then upon the Ash Grove prairie where they lived until 1915, when they moved to Doniphan, Neb., living there until 1920. They then moved to Colorado, where they have since resided in the shadow of the Rockies.
Mrs. Zulauf died at her home in Lyons on Dec 10, 1931, at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 6 days. She is survived by her husband, one brother, one sister and seven children.
The funeral was held from the Howe Funeral Home in Boulder, Monday, Dec. 14, at 2 o'clock, Rev. Charles Beckman of the First M.E. Church officiating. Burial was made in Green Mt. cemetary.
The children attending the funeral were Mr. Frank Zulauf, Ravenna, Neb; Mrs Ed Gardner, Boulder, Colo.; Mrs. Charles Gardner, Bloomington, Neb.; Mr. Fred Aulauf, Wilcox, Neb.; Mr James Zulauf, McCook, Neb.; Two daughters, Mrs Bert Skiles, of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Theo. Ohl of Los Angeles, Calif., were unable to attend.
Mrs Zulauf had been a christian many years and at her death held membership in the Christian Church at Pleasant View, Neb. She was a woman of excptional beautiful character. No mother more devoted to the love and care of her family, never failing, never complaining, but ever putting the welfare of others first."
