Third Generation ...
John Skiles, a son of Thomas, was born about 1697 in Somerset and married a woman named Elizabeth. They lived in Cecil County, Maryland in 1714-19 and attended St. Stephen's Church in Sassafras Parish. Mrs. Hansell states that John and Elizabeth were married in 1712 or 1713 in Somerset, and that John died before October 11, 1737. Children: Anna in 1714, John Junior in 1716, Ephraim in 1719, Henry in 1720 (all in Cecil County), Elizabeth and four other daughters whose names were unknown. No one knows where John died but Elizabeth drew he will June 29, 1769, in Frederick County, Maryland.

It did mention Thomas Cary, Sarah Groon (Green?), son John, son-in-law Thomas Renshaw, godson John and brother-in-law John Irving. Thomas Skiles, John Collins and Samuel Worthington witnessed the will.
