bullet Adrian Isaac Mares was born on 4 Sep 1978 in Pasedena, Texas. Adrian weighed in at 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was the skinniest baby I had ever seen. He had a head full of black wild hair and he still does. As my first borne he was overprotected. I did not let him feed himself until he was 2. I did not let him get dirty, etc., etc. Adrian has been a good child and other than struggling through school, he has not done all of the things that eenagers do. He goes out occasionally but never comes home smelling like alchohol or smoke. Adrian resembles Mother very much. He arches his eyebrows the same as Mom used to and his features resemble Mom so much that I feel her presence sometimes. Adrian is a child with special needs and has required extra patience and understanding from both me and Chris. I pray that we have done the right thing by him and pray for guidance as we try to help him make his way out into the world. We had lost a child through miscarraige the previous year so God was good to us. Elizabeth was and still is a beautiful baby child. She weighed in at 7 lbs and 12 oz. without a hair on her head. As I held her in the hospital her tiny hands clutched my nightgown. This same nightgown became her security blanket until she became 2. Leti made her an animal blanket which she used until her brother came into the world on her 3rd birthday. Elizabeth was tallking in complete sentences when she was 18 months and she has not stopped since. She was dancing by the time she could walk and she still loves to dance. She enjoys baseball, ballet, tap, swimming and dancing to Spice Girls and Selena. Elizabeth reminds me of Mother because she loves shoes and clothes as much as Mom did. I call her "IMELDA MARCOS".
