Elizabeth Myers was born on 9 Feb 1848 in Wilkes Co., North Carolina.⁽¹⁶⁾⁽³⁾ She died on 6 Mar 1932.⁽³⁾ According to her death certificate, she died 9 Feb 1932, at age 84 yrs and 26 days, and was buried 7 Mar 1932 , in Shady Grove Cem. Obviously, there are errors on this death certificate. It appears that her date of birth has also been entered as her date of death. Her granddaughter, Nora Bottoms stated in Nov 1989: "....My grandmother Bottoms died on or about the 6th of March in 1929 as well as I remember. I know it was not in 1932 as stated on one of those papers (her death certificate). This may be true but it is difficult to believe that a contemporary document would be years in error as to the death date. I have chosen to record 1932 as the death date, with the disclaimer that it might change with further information.
