IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Michael Core of the Borough of Lancaster and the Province
of Pennssylvania Yeomaan being low and Weak of Body but of Sound and Dispofeing
mind and Memore, do make and Declare this my last Will and Teftament first and
Principally I recomend my Immortal Spirit into the haands of my great Creator
Trustingt in the Merits of my Blefsed Savior for Pardon And Rmisfsion of all
my Sins and an happy Admifsion into the Regions of Blifs and Immortality And
as to such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to blefs me in this life
I give Devise & gequeath of the same as follows. ITEM I will Order and Direct
that all my Just Debts and funeral Expenses be paid off, and Discharged as soon
as Conveniently may be after my Decease by my Executors herein and after mentioned.
ITEM I give divise and bequeath to my Loving Wife Anna Maria Core the House
and Lott of Land whereon I now live to hold to her, her Heirs and Afsighs forever,
and also the Sum of Twenty Pounds, a Feather Bed, and Milch Cowe. ITEM I Give
Divise and bequeath to my son Ludwick Core the Sum of Ten Pounds. ITEM I Give
Devife and bequeath to my Son Christian Core the Sum of five Pounds. ITEM I Give
Devise and Bequeath to my Daughter Anna Maria Core the Sum of Ten pounds. ITEM
I Give to Hartman Kock the Sum of Ten Pounds. AND IT is my Will and I ddo Order
and Direct That all the Rest and Residue of Estate be Equally devided between
my Children To wit, Between Casper Core, Luwick Core, Michael Core, Cradle
Core, John Core, Christian Core, Anna Maria Core and the Children of my Eldest
Daughter Elizabeth which said Children of my said Daughter Elizabeth shall have
between them Equally devided one Eighth part of said Residue, AND it is my Will
further and I do Order and Direct that the Sum of Ten Pounds above bequeathed
to my Son Ludwick shall be paid out of the Proportionable part of the residue
that shall be coming to my Sons Casper & Michael, that is tosay, that our
of eacch of their Parts above bequeathed them, shall be paid to Ludwick the
Sum of Five Pounds over and above his the said Ludwicks part 00 proportion of
the said residue AND I do Nominate Constitute and appoint my Wife Anna Maria
Executrix, and my Loving Friends, Casper Shaffer, John Bishop & George Beart
Executors of this my Last Will & Testament, HEREBY revoking aand making Void
all former and other Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made Declaring
this and no other to be my last Will andTestament IN WITNEFS whereof I haave
here Set my hand and Seall this Twenty Second Day of November Anno Doimini one

off Sound and disposing mind and Memory to the best of their knowledge.

the 27th of January and was buried on the 29th thereafter, on Sexagesima Sunday,

Prior to Michael's death , he sold his farm to William Lawright, though no formal
transfer of the property was recorded until 17 October 1766, when surviving heirs
relinquished their rights to the property in a quitclaim deed (Lancaster Co.
Deed Book WW, vol. 2, pp 132-134) Names recorded on this document were; Casper
Kohr, Michael Kohr, Johannes Corr, Christian Korr, Daniel Borne, Jacob Hederick,
Anna Maria wife of Hederick, Margaret wife of Borne, and Elizabeth Smeltzer.
