My great great great grandfathers name was Anderson Fields. He married Lucinda Manis. Lucinda Manis Fields drove a ox team from Hawkins County, Tn with 4 young children durning the Civil War.Anderson Fields was fighting in the war at the time. After the war was over he joined his family in Ky where he died and is buried in Boyd Co. My great great grandfather Christopher Columbus Fields was one of the children in the wagon train that came from Hawkins Co, Tn

Benjamin May Holbrook, my ggg grandfather, was father of Thomas Green Holbrook. The Burning Springs Church is in Salyersville and Benjamin was the moderator there for many years. The Chestnut Grove Church was founded by Benjamin. Benjamin often times signed his name Benjamin M. Holbrook M.G. which stood for Minister of the Gospel.
My great great grandfather Thomas 'Green' Holbrook married Isabel 'Belle' Blevins.
Roby Hale married Anna Mossie Holbrook
Ballard Hale married Myrtle Fields

Woodson Hensley ..( son of Samuel Hensley and Katherine Leftridge ) married Catherine Purdue... 2nd wife Adaline Mayo.
Woodson and Catherine Hensley are parents to Martha Jane Hensley. They are originally from Cabell County, West Virginia. Between 1850-1860 Woodson moved to Boyd County, Ky
Martha Jane Hensley married Burris Hale.
