Notes for Mary Anne Fair:
Married Samuel Guyton at St Lawrence, Norwich, Norfolk, on 17 April 1815 when her name is shown as Mary Fare. He was described as a widower but Mary Fair was not.
Head of household, age given as 65 (ie born c 1776), occupation given as gauze weaver, and living at Cardinal Cap Yard, Norwich, Norfolk, at the time of the 1841 Census. No mention of her husband so she may already have been a widow.
Age given as 77 (ie born c 1774), a widow, receiving relief, and living at Church Alley, St Swithin, Norwich, Norfolk, at the time of the 1851 Census. Living in the same household were Sarah Fair, unmarried, aged 48 and described as Mary Fair's daughter, and Maria Harveston, married, aged 24 and described as Mary Fair's granddaughter and grandson in law's wife. Sarah Fair was born in c 1801 before Mary Fair's marriage to Samuel Guyton in 1815, so Mary Fair may have been a widow at the time of her marriage although this was not recorded.
Died aged 83 years (ie born c 1774) of senectus at Church Alley, St Swithin, Norwich. Her son in law or grandson in law, Joseph Seaman, who was also living in Church Alley, was present at her death.
