1910 Birmingham, Ala census:
Clara, widowed, living with 2 children Elvin and Ernestine. Clara was living on 8th avenue in Birmingham and was born in MI as were her parents. She did not have a job.

Elvin, 18, was also born in MI and was a messenger boy for the telegraph company and worked for wages. His father also born in MI.

Ernestine, 16, was born in MI and was a telephone operator for the telephone company and worked for wages, Her father was born in MI.

Note: Clara returned to MI after 1918 and lived with her son, Elvin, for the last five years.

County Deaths:
Mrs Clara Miller, resident of Elba for the past five years, died at the Laper County Hospital, Tuesday. Mrs Miller came from Pontiac to live with a son, Ayers, who formerly operated an oil station in Millville, three miles northwest of Laper.
