Eva Delphine Ayres (daughter of Andrew Ayres and Josephine Adell Des Ermia) was born August 15, 1874 in Irish Hills, MI, and died August 08, 1929 in Onsted, MI. She married Charles Andrew Kerr on April 15, 1903.

Eva D Ayres, 38, Onsted and Charles A Kerr, 32, grain dealer, both of Cambridge. Parents are John and Elizabeth Sherrard-Kerr and Andrew and Josephine Des Ermia-Ayres. (John was married one other time.) Eva and Charles were wed 4-15-1903 in Cambridge by Blackford, Rector of All Saints Church. Witnesses: Mr and Mrs Elbert Selleck.

Mrs Eva Kerr, age 55, died yesterday afternoon at 2 pm after a weeks illness of influenza and kidney trouble. Mrs Kerr was born 8-15-1874 in the Irish Hills near Evans Lake, she was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Andrew Ayres. She attended District School, and completed her education at the Brooklyn high school. She was married 4-15-1903 to Charles A Kerr.

She is survived by the husband; one daughter, Miss Josephine Kerr, at home and one son, Raynor, a student at Hillsdale College; a twin sister Mrs EL Selleck of Manitou Beach and two other sisters Mrs Etta Smith and Mrs Clara Rogers both of Spokane, Wash.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending the arrival of the son, who has been visiting his aunts in Spokane and is on the way home.
