Evy F Ayres (daughter of Andrew Ayres and Josephine Adell Des Ermia) was born August 15, 1874 in Cambridge Twp, MI, and died September 22, 1944. She married Elbert Lewis Selleck on December 12, 1900 in Tecumseh, MI.

Evy F Ayres, 26, and Elbert L Selleck, 26, both of Cambridge were married in Tecumseh, MI 12-12-1900 by John Burleson, Priest of the Protestant Episcopal Church. Her parents are Andrew and Josephine Adell Des Ermia-Ayres. His parents are C W Selleck and Phoebe Kelley. Witnesses: R Franklin Kerr and Eva D Ayres.

Mrs Eva Ayres Selleck, widow of E L Selleck, died yesterday at 12:30 pm in her home at 1125 Williams Street, the result of a years illness. She was 70.

Born in Cambridge Twp she lived in Adrian the last five years, moving from Manitou Beach, her home the greater part of her life. She was proceeded in death by her husband E L Selleck nine years ago.

Surviving her are one sister, Mrs Etta Smith, Spokane, WA and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs Selleck was a member of the Cambridge Chapter of Eastern Star and St Michaels All Angels Episcopalian Church at Cambridge Junction.

The funeral will be in the family lot in Oakwood Cemetery.
