Herbert Ellsworth Ayres (son of Anson Ayres and Frances "Fannie" Augusta Seaman) was born September 01, 1873 in Cambridge Twp, and died June 06, 1951 in Adrian, MI. He married (1) Margaret Belle Brighton on September 01, 1894. He married (2) Julia Frances Standberry on November 23, 1946.

Adrian, MI June 6, 1951erbert E Ayres, 77, of 309 Mulzer Avenue, died this morning in Bixby Hospital where he had been a patient for the last three weeks. Born in Cambridge Twp, Mr Ayres lived in that section of the country coming to Adrian 35 years ago. He was employed by the Adrian Water Board as an engineer until his retirement three years ago.

Mr Ayres was proceeded in death by his wife Margaret, two daughters, Bertha and Ella; one brother, Earl Ayres. Surviving him are two daughters: Mrs Iva Derby and one son Howard Ayres of Adrian and ten grandchildren.

The funeral will be Friday at 2 pm in the Voight & Schwartz Funeral Home, the Rev Albert Raloff officiating. Burial will be in Addison Cemetery.
