Margaret Belle Brighton (b. July 22, 1873, d. May 10, 1942)

Margaret Belle Brighton was born July 22, 1873 in Cambridge Twp, and died May 10, 1942 in Spingville Twp. She married Herbert Ellsworth Ayres on September 01, 1894, son of Anson Ayres and Frances "Fannie" Augusta Seaman.

Mrs Margaret Brighton-Ayres 65, wife of Herbert E Ayres of 309 Mulzer Avenue, died suddenly Sunday morning at 7:30 in her home. She had been in failing health for some time but death was unexpected.

Mrs Ayres was born in Cambridge Twp July 22, 1873, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Brighton. She married September 1, 1894, to Mr Ayres who survives with five children; Mrs Iva Derby, Mrs Genevieve Pearce, Mrs Bertha Dermyer and Howard Ayres of Adrian and Mrs Ella Hutchins of Addison. Nine grandchildren also survive.

She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society of St Marys Church and a communicant of that church. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at nine O' Clock at St Marys Church and the burial will be in the parish cemetery.
