Bertha Marie Ayres (daughter of Herbert Ellsworth Ayres and Julia Frances Standberry) was born November 01, 1897 in Springville, MI, and died December 15, 1946 in Adrian, MI. She married Harvey Dermyer on April 01, 1917.

Mrs Harvey Dermyer, 50, of 816 Division Street, died Sunday at 6:45 am in Bixby Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks. Bertha Dermyer was born November 1, 1896 in Springville and moved to Adrian with her parents thirty years ago. She was employed by the American Chain & Cable Co.

Mrs Dermyer was proceeded in death by her mother, Mrs Margaret Ayres and one sister, Mrs Ella Hutchins. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Dermyer: three children, Herbert Ayres of Adrian, Dorothy and Ruth at home. Her father Herbert Ayres of Adrian and one brother, Howard Ayres of Adrian, sisters Mrs Iva Derby of Adrian and Mrs Genevieve Pearce of Monroe, two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 pm in the Voight & Schwart & Funeral Home, the Rev A F Raloff officiating. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park.
